Easter

After having a family get together at my house on Easter, Morgan, Darren, Scott, Tanner, Chase and I dyed Easter eggs at Nelson's. After that we went to the movies and saw Monsters Vs. Aliens. It was a 10:30 showing and we were the only ones in the theater! It was so much fun to hang out with my cousins!Scott and Darren matched. Later we noticed Scott and Tanner were wearing the exact same shirt, only different colors.


Chase's egg was pretty much perfect.

Jazz Games!

In the past month I have gone to a few Jazz games. They have all been upper bowl seats, but they have been so fun!
The first one I went to was with Scott and Tyler. We got some really cheap tickets and knew they'd be bad seats. When we got to the game we found out they were second to last row. But it was still a really fun game!
The next game I went to was the first playoff home game against the Lakers. I went with Jessica Farr, her husband Jordan and Scott R. This game was so much fun! It was so good to see them win!
Then, Scott and I went to the second home game against the Lakers.
When I sat down in my seat the girl next to me started whistling. REALLY LOUD! I made Scott trade me seats because it hurt my ears so badly. Being a seat away really helped. A few minutes later the people who sat in the seat in front of us arrived. It was a girl and her husband. The girl sat in front of me. Except, she didn't really sit. She just started jumping up and down which completely blocked my view. After a few minutes she sat down and would just jump up on the really good plays. I didn't mind this and was able to see the game. Then she started drinking... She had to of had at least 10-12 beers. While she was jumping up and down she kept knocking into the little boy standing next to her and about knocked him over! I was kinda freaking out because I was so worried about this little boy. Overall, it was a fun game even though the Jazz ended up loosing.

My 23rd Birthday!

I had one of the funnest birthdays ever. It was on a Sunday, but I had a party all weekend!
It started on Friday when Scott took me to Ruby River. It was delicious. He told them it was my birthday and I had to wear a hideously HUGE cowboy hat.These are brownies that Scott made for me!

On Saturday, I got home from work and found a package from LIZ! I was so surprised! I wasn't expecting anything! It was a great present and really made me smile!
Then my family went to Matt and Laurie's for pizza and brownies and ice cream. I don't really like cake, so my mom me brownies instead. While I was there I tried to get a picture with all of my nephews! I love them so much and just being with them my birthday so fun! I didn't get a picture with Austin... :( But I did with everyone else! After we ate we all went to BYU to watch the boy's volleyball team. They played UCLA and were amazing! They won! This was so much fun. Jordy loved the game too! He was having so much fun clapping and cheering for BYU! I love spending time with all of my family and especially with my nephews! They are so cute!

When I got home from the game I walked into my room and saw balloons and streamers everywhere! There were also Reese's on my bed! Yummy! I was shocked. I found out Scott and Tyler did it while I was at the game. It was a fun surprise to come home to, but I was so tired just wanted to go to bed. The next day I let my nephews play in the balloons. Jordy loved it!

On Sunday, (my birthday) Matt, Mikel, and Myles came up, along with Jen, Chad, Carson, and Jordy. We had steak and brownies and ice cream, again. :) My parents got me a very large filing cabinet. This will be very good for me to have in my classroom and I have already started to file teaching stuff in it. My sisters (including in law) all got me such great presents as well! They were all so thoughtful!
This whole weekend was so much fun! I got way too many presents, had so much fun with my nephews, and ate lots and brownies and ice cream! My favorite!

I decided I would write about some things I have done so far this year. I'll start with the Rascal Flatts Concert!
On Feb. 26th Scott and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert! It was so fun! Before the concert I met Keith Stubbs. Not a big deal right? Oh, for me it was! I know he is just a guy on the radio but I listen to him on my way to school everyday and really like him. I was so nervous to go talk to him, so Scott walked up to him and started talking to him and asked if I could get my picture with him. I really was very nervous.
Anyways, the concert was amazing! I love Rascal Flatts and I love their lyrics. It was a great night!

Summer is here!

Well, today was my last day of school! Last week was the last week of class, but I had to go today for my exit interview. I met with my 4 professors with 3 other students and we just talked about our portfolios and what we learned etc. It went really well. After school I worked for 3 hours and then went shopping! It feels so relieving not to stress about homework. Since I am going to have some extra time, I figured I could use it updating my blog. My life isn't very exciting but me and my little sister were talking and this will be a good way to keep a journal.So hopefully I will keep it up!
