August 21st was my last day of working at Dick's Market. I worked there for seven years. Most of the time it was Dan's foods. I started as a bagger when I was 16. When I turned 18, I was a cashier. Later, I worked as the Front End Supervisor, then the Front End Trainer and finally the Floral Manager. Quitting was kind of bittersweet. It was nice to move on but I had been there for so long, created lots of memories, and enjoyed my job and most of the people. ;)

On my last day they gave me a backpack full of school supplies, peanut butter bars and other favorite candies, and a spa gift cartificate. It was extremely nice of them!

On August 25th I started student teaching. I decided I wouldn't even think about blogging during my student teaching because I would have enough going on. Well, now it is time to catch up.
I student taught for about 16 weeks. Eight weeks in a third grade class and eight weeks in a sixth grade class. Both placements were great learning experiences. It kept me extremely busy. Finally, on December 11th I graduated with a BS in Elementary education. I was uncertain about walking, however, my family was coming to watch so I figured they might be disappointed if I didn't show up! :) I was glad that I did walk. It helped me realize that I was actually finally graduating!!!
Now time to catch up!!
While we were camping in the Unintahs, Carson was a little scared to try fishing. I told him I would take him to ice cream if he just tried it. He did and ended up catching lots of fish!
Here he is at Baskin Robins.
Over Labor Day weekend I went to Kennecott Copper Mine with my family. This was the first time I had ever been there. It was really cool!
Me and Liz went to Lagoon for one last time. I really got my moneys worth this year! I had lots of fun going with friends and family!

For halloween, my family had a Halloween party at Matt and Laurie's house. We all dressed up, the kids went trick or treating from bedroom door to door, played pin the nose on the jack-o-latern and we made mummy pizzas and hot dogs. We all had lots of fun!

Shandra, Jessica and I went to a corn maze! We played on the little playground before going into the maze. There was a big slide and even a teeter totter! Haha :) We had lots of fun!

Haning out at Shandra's. Shandra wanted to build a snowman, because she never had before. Unfortunately, the snow wasn't right for snowman making so instead Scott just covered her with snow!
Hanging out with Scott, Shandra, and Jess. Not sure where Scott was during pictures! We went to The Pizza Factory and then went bowling. We were great bowlers!
